Gaurikund:
Gaurikund, situated around 18 kilometers from Kedarnath, is an important pilgrimage site and the starting point for the trek to Kedarnath. The temple of Gauri, dedicated to Goddess Parvati, and the thermal springs of Gaurikund add a spiritual and therapeutic dimension to the pilgrimage journey.

Shankaracharya Samadhi:
Located behind the Kedarnath Temple, the Samadhi of Adi Shankaracharya, the renowned philosopher and theologian, is a revered site. Pilgrims pay their respects to Adi Shankaracharya, who is credited with renovating and reviving several Hindu pilgrimage sites.




Chorabari Tal (Gandhi Sarovar):
Situated at an altitude of 3,900 meters, Chorabari Tal, also known as Gandhi Sarovar, is a glacial lake near Kedarnath. Pilgrims take a dip in the holy waters of Chorabari Tal before visiting the Kedarnath Temple, following the belief that it purifies the soul.

Triyuginarayan Temple:

Triyuginarayan Temple, located at a distance from Kedarnath, is believed to be the spot where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married. The temple is known for its eternal flame, which is said to have been burning since the time of the divine marriage.
